Graduate Acoustics Consultant

We are acoustic and theatre consultants specialising in design and specification of performing arts and cultural centres – including theatres, concert halls, opera houses, recording studios, museums and galleries. We also work on premium developments for educational, government and corporate buildings. We have offices around the world, including Hong Kong, Shanghai, Australia, New Zealand and Europe.

We are looking for an enthusiastic graduate to join the Hong Kong office to assist with our local and international projects. We offer training, professional memberships, travel opportunities, office transfer options and a creative office environment.

We invite applications from Graduate Engineers in the fields of Mechanical, Civil, Computer Science, Environmental Science and of course Acoustics. The successful candidate will join our team on prestigious performing arts centres in Hong Kong, China, Korea, Europe and Australia.

The tasks expected from the Graduate will include:

· Learn about acoustics and consulting

· Attend meetings, construction site inspections and acoustic measurements with team members

· Run acoustic predictions for sound insulation, mechanical noise control and room acoustic simulations

· Prepare project related documentation and drawings

· Travel with the team to attend meetings and concerts/performances.

The ideal candidate will have a HKID card and:

· Excellent spoken and written English, Cantonese & Putonghua

· Competency in AutoCAD (Skills in Rhino3D, Sketch-Up, Odeon, BIM etc are appreciated)

· Passion for music, performing arts and acoustic engineering

· Collaborative nature and ability to work in a team.

Package includes:

· $20k or above (with salary review after probation)

· 4 weeks paid annual leave

· Personal and sick leave

· Transportation and mobile phone allowance.
