Webinar on Acoustic Metamaterials for construction and industrial noise control applications in Hong Kong

Dear Members,

On behalf of HKIOA, we are proud to present to you a joint webinar, Acoustic Metamaterials for construction and industrial noise control applications in Hong Kong, co-organized by the HKIE-MMNC and HKIOA. The webinar is scheduled on 11 September 2023 (Mon) from 6:30pm to 8:00pm via ZOOM.

Acoustic metamaterial is a new and advanced material that utilizes specially designed structure to perform sound absorption. Compared to conventional acoustic materials like rock wools and sponge, metamaterial provides not only better noise absorption capability, but also spectrum customization ability and excellent material durability with comparable price. Such a technology can be widely applied in construction sites, buildings and other related fields. Details of this webinar would be as follows:
